About Us
It all started a few of years ago when two friends had a shared interest in helping animals. They both wanted a club where you could volunteer for pets, meet other animal lovers, learn, and have lots of fun. After searching and searching there were no animal clubs they knew of. So the friends decided to take the initiative to make their own club that was fun and educational. Paws for a Cause is an animal club for any high school teen in Arizona. Meetings for this club take place every other Monday @2:45pm (check calendar page for updates). There will be a Zoom meeting option that can be requested, however, we highly encourage attending in person if you are comfortable doing so. During meetings, we learn many things about animals including pet first aid, fostering pets, animal-related jobs, and more. Outside of the meetings, we volunteer for pets and do fun animal-related activities to build a stronger bond between our members. This club is unique because Paws for a Cause is a balance of fun and educational learning to keep our members engaged in helping animals and our community. All officers participate in teaching the material for our meetings along with scheduled speakers and videos from people with animal qualifications (vets, zookeepers, etc.). We strive to make a positive difference - not only in the animals' lives but in our community as well. Join us and make that difference!
